The process:
Of course, the first step, is to download and install WindowBlinds 0.97. Use it for a few minutes, when you start it you should notice that there is a nag screen. On the nag screen there are three buttons, 'Register', 'Order Form' and 'Continue Unregistered..'.

Press the 'Register' button and you will be presented with a new window which allows you to fill in your name and registration code. Now, we need SoftICE, reboot if you haven't load it. Ok, SoftICE ready with you? Fill in your name and any registration code, like for example I use:

Name:Sample Copy
Registration Code:2319998

Go into SoftICE and type bpx GetWindowTextA. Go back to the registration screen and press the 'OK' button. When SoftICE pops up, just press F5 twice until a messagebox comes out telling you that your registration information is not correct.

Then without disabling the breakpoint(GetWindowTextA), press the 'OK' button again. When SoftICE pops up, press F11 and type this:

s 0 l ffffffff '2319998'

Then, at the Data Window of SoftICE(upper right hand side), it will display 2319998 there. Now, prepare a pen and a paper. Don't go out of SoftICE, press ALT together with the keypad 2 or down arrow button on the keyboard and finally you will see your personal registration code like for my name the registration code is WB-106ef887.

Now, you don't need me to teach you the next step, do you? Disable the breakpoint and enter the registration information and you will be the registered user without paying by locating the real registration code. By the way, if you want to unregister WindowBlinds, you can run regedit by pressing the start button -> run -> regedit -> Ok, go to My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Stardock\WindowBlinds\WB5.ini\INSTALLED and change the value of the Path and Path2 or delete them. As a note I would like to say that eventhough the way I taught you is easy, after you try to locate the real registration code of different names or fake codes a few times, the whole data there in the data window will be quite messy. Note that the memory address given above may be a bit different or totally different on your computer, you just have to follow my way and don't worry the instruction will still be the same.
